While the room was clean, it felt slightly dated, and I experienced low water pressure in the shower. The nearby street noise could be a bother for light sleepers.

My stay at Balmoral On York was very pleasant. The room was spacious and modern, offering a comfortable bed and a large flat-screen TV with excellent picture quality. The hotel provides free high-speed internet and on-site parking, and the breakfast was delicious and well-prepared by the friendly owner. Located within walking distance of central Launceston, it made my business trip convenient and enjoyable.

The walk back from the city center includes a steep incline.

The room lacked air-conditioning, making it feel uncomfortable. The lounge furniture was worn, and parts of the room seemed half-painted or plastered!!! A little investment in room updates would go a long way!!!

I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room for 2 nights, and it was a great surprise! The room was spacious, and I loved having a fridge and dishes for coffee. Also, the breakfast was on point with lots of options, especially the fresh fruit. The staff was super attentive and made everything pleasant. Just a heads up, though, the noise from the street was a bit annoying at times.
